Luckily for you though I have summarised the best and most unforgettable ways to celebrate your 18th birthday below so you ease your mind and find something to do today!
Remember whatever you end up doing just have fun!
18th Birthday Ideas 1: Outrageous 18th birthday Party!
Whether you live in America or Antarctica having a huge 18th birthday party is the most popular thing to do on your 18th birthday. Being a fantastic way to see in your new adulthood an 18th birthday party is a way for you to show the world that you are now an adult and should be seen as one.
Be sure to plan it out properly, invite those you love and care about and just have a fabulous time!
If you really want to go to the next level of celebrating your 18th birthday then try to host a “themed party”. There is nothing more fun than seeing every one dressed up in your favourite theme!
18th Birthday Ideas 2: Go Out Shopping!
So I can hear you thinking, but Kristen why should I buy something for myself on my birthday? You see although everyone should be fussing around for you on your special day there is no reason why you shouldn’t be doing the same! Go out and treat yourself! Christen your 18th birthday experience by spoiling yourself if only for this day alone! Some even say shopping is therapeutic!.
Budget pending of course going out shopping for your 18th birthday is definitely recommended, however small or large your budget may be.
18th Birthday Ideas 3: Clubbing!
If your 18 and you love to paint the town red then clubbing is a must for your 18th. In most parts of the world 18 is the accepted age for club entry but it does vary. Do some research and find out those clubs that are within your age bracket and then grab a hand full of your friends or family to take along with you.
Remember my motto is “If you can’t bring the party home then take the party out with you!”
18th Birthday Ideas 4: Rent a condo on the beach
A great and fairly cost effective way to spend your 18th birthday is to rent a condor on the beach. Even if you don’t have a beach nor condo type set up in your area then staying in a hotel is a great way to spend your 18th birthday. Here you get to get out of your local area but still be in the comfort of your own country. This is one of my personal favourites so if there is a beach near you and you like a good view then spend a night down there. It’ll be worth it.
18th Birthday Idea 5: Spa and makeover
My personal favourite and the 18th birthday idea that shines through the rest is to get yourself a spa and makeover. Although many boys thinks that this idea only applies to us girls there are far more benefits then first comes to light. You see a makeover is more than the pedicures and manicures for girls and new haircuts and new clothes for boys, it’s a chance for you to let go your child look and encourage your more adult appearance.
Research your area and find out your nearest spa and treatment centre and book yourself in for the day. Getting a makeover however small is a mature way to see your 18th birthday in.
18th Birthday Ideas 6: Amusement park
A great way to spend your 18th birthday with your friends and family is to go to a Theme park. Try to go to an amusement park that you haven’t been to before or at least in a long time. Nothing beats an 18th birthday celebration more than you shouting your lungs out, or of course ‘sicking’ them up!
18th Birthday Ideas 7: Get A Tattoo.
Getting a tattoo is one very popular 18th birthday idea that many teens (me included) decide to do. If your family or friends are not to keen on tattoo’s then have a talk with them. Ultimately though the decision is yours so if you really want to get one then make your mind up accordingly.
Quick tip – Remember most countries do allow 18 year olds to get a tattoo but some don’t so respect your countries laws!
18th Birthday Ideas 8: Have Romantic dinner with your partner.
This 18th birthday idea is for those of you with a more romantic edge and want to spend your special day with your loved one. A romantic dinner for two can be a fantastic treat for you on your 18th birthday and a very memorable way celebrate your special day. Be sure to book a fab restaurant or get your partner to make you a stunning home cooked meal. Remember if you haven’t got a loved one just yet then take some friends instead!!!
18th Birthday Ideas 8 – Place 9: Casino
If you’re the type of person that is “up” for a bet at the first glance of a gambling proposal then maybe the casino is for you. Find your nearest one, bring ID and have some good old fun gambling, but don’t get too carried away as you may end up with no money at all!
18th Birthday Ideas 10: Sky diving or extreme sports.
Sky diving or something similar like extreme sports is a very unusual but rewarding way to spend your 18th birthday. I guarantee that if you are in to this type of extreme thrill then you won’t be disappointed. Remember that skydiving isn’t for the faint hearted so if the sight from the top of a flight of stairs gets yours knees a bit wobbly then I would stick to something like indoor skydiving that is available in some cities worldwide.
Now the thing to remember here is your 18th birthday is a once in a lifetime event and you should really try your best to make it unforgettable, with any budget. I found out the hard way and would hate for you to suffer the same drag that I went through.
